Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate :
Collection at 8:30h in the morning at the hotel or Riad where you are staying in Marrakech.Departure to the High Atlas through the Tizi N'Tichka passwith stops for panoramic views. Visit the women's cooperative of Argan oil where you can discover the process in full and listen to an explanation about the many benefits it has for the human body. Continue southward turning off into a 6 km track that will take us to the village of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, visit its World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In this spectacular setting movies have been shot like Gladiator and the Jewel of the Nile. Lunch in the village and continue to Ouarzazate "the desert door". Night in Riad
Day 2: Ouarzazate - Draa Valley - Alnif - Merzouga dunes:
After breakfast we go to the Draa Valley, its highlight being one of the longest rivers in Morocco. Stops to admire the charming adobe kasbahs and Berber villages that dot the route and the wonders of the Draa Valley. After lunch in Alnif, we drive for two hours to reach the impressive dunes of Merzouga, here we take tea and enjoy local hospitality while we rest a bit from travel. We leave our bags at the hostel as we will not use them in the desert, we set off on a camel caravan an hour and a half to take us to the foot of the Great Dune "Erg Chebbi". On the way we hope to see the beautiful desert sunsetas it descends behind the dune. Nigh and Dinner in the camp.
Day 3: Merzouga - Khamlia - Visit the nomads - Merzouga:
We wake before dawn to watch the sunrise. We ride the camels back to the hostel. Shower and breakfast. Surrounding the Erg Chebbi is an expanse of desert where we will see the Great Dune of Morocco, over 250 meters, connecting by track with part of the route taken by the former Paris-Dakar rally, with the mountains that border Algeria in the background. We make a stop at the oasis of Tissardmine and continue until a nomadic settlement where we will learn some secrets of their life and customs. There is a great place to stop at a viewpoint where you can look back and admire the Erg Chebbi together. You will enjoy a stop in Khamlia, in this villagethe people are descendants of Sudanese slaves, here we relax with tea while enjoying a short concert of Gnawa music. Return to the hostel, lunch and free time to climb the dunes and take advantage of a romantic sunset. After dinner, we expect a show with Berber drums. Nigh Dinner in hotel or in the Camp.
Day 4: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley:
We go to Erfoud and Rissani to visit the fossilized marble factory before continuing on to the palm of Touroug and Tinjdad. Our road takes us to one of the highpoints of the South: the Todra Gorges. The channel of the River Todra Gorge has formed a vertical wall of huge proportions, it really is spectacularly beautiful. It is a paradise for climbers and a unique place. Lunch at the site and a leisurely half hour walk to see the Gorges. In the afternoon we continue to the Dades Valley through Boumalne. Arrival in the Dades Gorge.Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
Day 5: Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Marrakech:
After breakfast we depart by a road dotted with Kasbahs, each one different. After several stops we head towards the route of a Thousand Kasbahs, the Valley of the Roses and the Great Skoura palm. Arrival in Ouarzazate, visit the Kasbah of Taourirt which was formerly the residence of Glaoui or Pasha of Marrakech. Lunch at the site. We leave this region by the mountain road and the high pass of Tizi N'Tichka with stops to enjoy the spectacular views offered. Arrive in Marrakech at 17h. Transfer to Hotel and end of our services.
